March Madness
Grades 1 & 2  Co-ed
This is a 45 minute program which is broken down into three sections, skills and drills, games, and a scrimmage. The focus of this program is on skill development and fun! The kids will learn valuable basketball skills while also learning the fundamentals of game play.

Dates:        Saturdays, March 8, 15, 22,  9:45 - 10:30am  
Location:   Suffield High School Gym 
Fee:            $100.00

Included in the program will be a trip to Mohegan Sun to see the Connecticut Sun play their season opener vs. the Washington Mystics on Sunday, May 18th . 
 
The bus will leave from the Suffield Senior Center (145 Bridge Street, Suffield CT) at 10:45am promptly. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before 10:45am.
We will arrive at Mohegan Sun just before 12:00pm.
The game begins at 1:00pm.
We will then depart Mohegan Sun around 3:30pm and arrive back at the Senior Center around 4:30pm.

General Information
  • INSTRUCTOR: Suffield Parks & Recreation Staff and Volunteer Parent Coaches
  • Registration closes on Thursday, March 6 and/or earlier if enrollment reaches maximum capacity.
  • Limited enrollment.
  • For your child’s safety and the safety of others, the following jewelry is not permitted to be worn: earrings, rings, bracelets, rubber and friendship type wrist bands, anklets, body piercing, watches, necklaces, metal and plastic head bands, barrettes, hair clips.
  • For safety reasons children with casts are not allowed to participate.
