Flag Football NFL - Spring Co-ed (Junior Players Ages 6-9 & Senior Players Ages 10-14)

Flag Football
NFL Flag Football is the premier youth football program for boys and girls. The program provides young players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in a non-contact, continuous action sport, while learning lessons in teamwork.

The Spring 2022 program begins the week of April 18, 2022 and runs until June 11, 2022.  Suffield Parks and Recreation offers two age groups.  Our junior age group is for players ages 6-9 and our senior age group is for players 10-14. We will be playing other teams from East Granby and Granby.  Location will be at various Suffield Fields, details to follow.

Assessments will be held to assist the coaches in creating teams. No experience is needed and all players are asked to attend the assessments.  The location of the assessments will be announced in coming weeks.

Junior player (ages 6-9) assessments will be held on Thursday, April 21 at 5:00pm. 
Senior player (ages 10-14) assessments will be held on Thursday, April 21 at 6:15pm.

Practice will be held 1 time a week beginning the week of April 25, 2022.  The day(s) of practice is set by the coaches; during the registration process you will be asked what your preferred night will be. Please be aware that this is not a guarantee. Practice locations are yet to be determined. More information about this will be coming out in future weeks.

Games will be held on Friday Nights 5:00pm - 8:00pm or Sunday Afternoons 12:00pm - 4:00pm. There will be one game per week. The game schedule is based on the number of teams in the league.

The last day to register is Sunday, April 17, 2022. No late registrations will be accepted.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:
All players are required to wear a mouth guard for practices and games.
Non-metal cleats are required for practices and games. 
All players will receive an NFL Flag Football jersey.
Flags, footballs, and all other equipment will be provided.
