Flag Football
NFL Flag Football is the premier youth football program for boys and girls. The program provides young players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in a non-contact, continuous action sport, while learning lessons in teamwork.

League/ Divisions:
Teams are made up of players from Granby, East Granby, and Suffield, and there are three age-based divisions. 
The Age Determination Date for a player is the actual age of the child on January 1, 2024.

Level 1: players age 6 - 8 yrs. 
Level 2: players age 9-11 yrs.  
Level 3: players age 12-14 yrs. 
We reserve the right move players around based on experience and registration numbers.

Schedule:
Practices for the Spring 2024 Season begin the week of April 22 and will occur 1-2 times/ week (day/time set by coaches).
Practices will be held in East Granby (at East Granby Farms) and Suffield (at Cervione Park).
Games are played Friday nights at Cervione Field  (571 Copper Hill Rd., West Suffield) beginning on Friday, April 26th

Assessments:
Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early for your scheduled assessment time.
Level 1 - April 8, 5:00 - 5:45pm at Cervione Field
Level 2 - April 8, 6:00 - 6:45pm at Cervione Field
Level 3 - Assessments Canceled. Season for this age group will still be held. Only the assesments have been canceled for the 12-14 age group.
Registration Deadline:
The registration deadline is Sunday, April 7.

YL: 36”W / 26”L     XL: 39”W / 27”L
Adult Sizes
M: 43”W / 31”L       L: 47”W / 32”L

PLEASE NOTE: All times subject to change.

General Information
  • INSTRUCTOR: Volunteer Coaches
  • Coaches Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 17th at the Suffield Senior Center at 5pm.
  • All players are required to wear a mouth guard for practices and games.
  • Cleats are required for practices and games. 
  • All players will receive an NFL Flag Football jersey.
  • Registration closes on Sunday, April 14 and/or earlier if enrollment reaches maximum capacity.
  • Limited enrollment.
