Spring Party and Art Together Specialty Workshop (Bowling Buddies and Bowling Buddies Jr. and Caregivers Welcome and Encouraged to Register)

We will  celebrate Spring with a special Wednesday evening party.  We will first play some games, enjoy subs, snacks and music and then make some really creative art with special guest and Artist Gayla Berry.

You will have a terrific evening with the Bowling Buddies and Bowling Buddies Jr.  outing group at this new Spring Art Workshop with dinner with special guest Gayla Berry.  We will have subs and snacks and play games first from 5:00-6:30pm and then we will have our specialty Art Program from 6:30-7:30pm. This program is for all ages and abilities and recommended for ages 9 and over. All participants must pre-register. 
Making art together fosters a profound sense of well-being, connection, and community. Join us for a special fun Friday evening program in creating art inspired by Georgia O’Keefe.
We begin with a brief discussion of the artist, Georgia O’Keefe then create our own artwork. Georgia O'Keefe's large-scale, close-up flowers and black and white photography are the focus of this class. We will use O'Keefe's artwork as inspiration for our own work. We will measure and mix paints, draw flowers, and paint them. Step-by-step directions will be given as a group, and individually as needed. As always, emphasis is on the process of making art, rather than any particular outcome.
