Students will be guided through a series of STEM learning challenges that will help develop their problem solving and critical thinking skills. They will use computer programming and robotics to design and build LEGO robots as a team, while following the FIRST LEGO League Challenge curriculum.
FIRST LEGO LEAGUE introduces science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to children through fun, exciting hands on learning. Participants gain real world problem-solving experiences through a guided, robotics program.
LEGO experience is a prerequisite for this program. Students should have experience designing and building LEGO models.
Dates: Monday, February 24, March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, April 7, 21, 28, May 5
Time: 3:30 - 5:30pm
Ages: Grades 4 & 5
Fee: $135.00
No program on April 14.
*This class is a continuation of the Fall Robotics program where they are focused on the programming aspect of the class.
