Students will be guided through a series of STEM learning challenges that will help develop their problem solving and critical thinking skills. They will use computer programming and robotics to design and build LEGO® robots as a team, while following the FIRST LEGO® League Challenge curriculum.
FIRST LEGO® LEAGUE introduces science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to children through fun, exciting hands on learning. Participants gain real world problem-solving experiences through a guided, robotics program.
LEGO® experience is a prerequisite for this program. Students should have experience designing and building LEGO® models.
Dates: Thursday, October 16, 23, 30, Thursday, November 6, 20, Monday, November 24, Thursday, December 4, 11, 18
Time: 3:30 - 5:30pm
Ages: Grades 4 & 5
Fee: $165.00 Residents $175.00 Non-residents
NOTE: No program on November 13 & 27.
