Food Scrap Collection Presentation, FREE Bin Included!

Want to collect your food scraps for the dumpster behind the town hall but don’t know where to start?
Come to this informative workshop, complete with pizza, drinks and snacks on Wednesday, October 16th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at the Senior Center. Hosted by Sustainable Suffield, Suffield Youth Services and the Parks and Recreation Department.
Sustainable Suffield will explain why it’s important to collect food scraps, and how they help make electricity for homes, organic fertilizer for farms and animal bedding.

You’ll eat at 5:30pm followed by the presentation at 6 pm. You’ll leave with your own FREE countertop food scrap bin and compostable bags, courtesy of Sustainable Suffield.
