YOUTH SERVICES - Home Alone Safety Workshop For Kids (Ages 8-13)
Home Alone Safety for Kids is a unique workshop for youth ages 18-13.
This interactive workshop covers safety concerns such as phone, door and internet safety, kitchen and outdoor fires, gas leaks, getting along with siblings when home alone, etc. Each family will receive a workbook with great conversation starters such as developing a family fire escape plan, emergency contacts, etc.
Workshop is facilitated by Sarah Calos, an experienced Youth Services Bureau Coordinator skilled in adolescent education and positive youth development. She has 10+ years of experience facilitating this workshop. She is a strong community and social services professional with a BA in Psychology.
