Students will have an opportunity to participate in our in-school postal program!
They will learn about and take on the various roles in getting mail to the various locations in our school community. We will practice letter writing for various purposes and take a field trip right across the street to get a peek "behind the scenes" to see how it all works at our Suffield Post Office!
Parents must indicate in PikMyKid School Connections (McAlister) or individual program (Spaulding), so students can be safely dismissed.
Students in afternoon courses will stay in their classrooms until approximately 3:30pm when they will be dismissed through a central location before being sent to the assigned course location.
All students should be picked up promptly at the time listed for each course.
Dates: Thursdays, April 23, 30, May 7, 14, 21, 28
Time: 3:30 - 4:30pm
Ages: Gr. 3-5
Fee: $35.00
Credit card payment only.
NOTE: Any Suffield Parks & Recreation account credits may NOT be applied to School Connections registrations.
General Information
- INSTRUCTOR: Mrs. Hanson
- SNACKS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL. Please send a snack.
- No refunds will be offered for a student who is enrolled in a course, but later withdraws (even if withdrawal occurs before the course begins).
- Medications at the school will not be accessible during School Connections hours.
- Registration closes on Friday, April 3 and/or earlier if enrollment reaches maximum capacity.
- Limited enrollment.
