Assertive Responses to Bullying Workshop
Confidence building, assertive responses to bullying behavior.
Workshop facilitated by Jon Metcalf, owner of Integrity Martial Arts in Enfield, CT., a longstanding, reputable program provider for the Town of Suffield.
- Expert Anti-bullying Curriculum: Designed by nationally acclaimed anti-bullying expert, Dr. Frank C. Sacco
- Focus on De-escalation: Children will learn how to verbally de-escalate difficult situations and how to defeat a bully without fighting.
- Proven Results: Program is designed to build self-esteem and help children learn how to stand up for themselves.
Date: Thursday, April 2 (early dismissal day)
Location: McAlister gymnasium
Time: 12:00 - 2:00pm
Ages: Grades 3, 4 & 5
Fee: FREE (Supported by grant funding)
