YOUTH SERVICES - Machine Making STEM Program (Gr. 6-9)
Machine Making 4 week STEM workshop at the Suffield Youth Services.
Over the course of the four weeks, students will use engineering concepts and computer-aided design (CAD) to move through the engineering design process from concept to finished product. They will learn how individual components work together and how design decisions affect the function of an entire system.
Dates: Tuesdays, October 6, 13, 20, 27
Time: 2:30 - 4:00pm
Ages: Grades 6-9
Location: Suffield Youth Services/Community Senior Center
Fee: FREE
AFTER-SCHOOL BUS TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED TO THE FIRST 10 STUDENTS WHO REGISTER
PLEASE BRING A CHROMEBOOK OR LAPTOP TO EACH SESSION
Parents: Call or email the school on these dates.
Students: Go to your school's main office on these dates and request a bus pass to the Youth Center. Hop on bus #10 at the end of the day, show the driver your pass and get dropped off at the Youth Center.
