The tennis program where kids play while they learn! Led by an approved USTA Net Generation tennis coach, the program will focus on developing the skills to serve, rally and play - so it’s perfect for beginners and first-time players. Once the skills are there, participants will play fun matches with other players in the program. Join retired Broadway professional and Radio City Rockette, Debra Vega, in her signature “Broadway Brings Joy” Musical Theater Camp!Throughout the 4 days, students will explore singing, dancing and acting as they piece together excerpts from 3 popular musicals: “Under The Sea” from The Little Mermaid“Little Shop of Horrors” from Little Shop of HorrorsJust Can’t Wait to be King” and/or “Hakuna Matata” from The Lion KingDance warm-ups, vocal coaching, acting exercises and educational videos will be included throughout the week. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Dance Performance/Theater, traveled the world as a musical theater professional, and lived in NYC for 10 years dancing on Broadway and as a Radio City Rockette. Debra has also taught dance throughout her performing career and beyond, now over 30 years. She currently teaches at the prestigious CLI Conservatory Pre-Professional Program, Mass Academy of Ballet, as well as starting her own Broadway training program called Broadway Brings Joy (BBJ) that includes programming for both Youth and Adults.
