Students will be guided through a series of STEM learning challenges that will help develop their problem solving and critical thinking skills. They will use computer programming and robotics to design and build LEGO® robots as a team, while following the FIRST LEGO® League Challenge curriculum. FIRST LEGO® LEAGUE introduces science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to children through fun, exciting hands on learning. Participants gain real world problem-solving experiences through a guided, robotics program.LEGO® experience is a prerequisite for this program. Your child will have a fun and festive time while making a variety of quality handmade presents and cards for Winter and the Holidays!  What is better than quality, thoughtful handmade gifts?  To put everyone in the holiday spirit, we will listen to holiday songs and have delicious snacks while having a blast.Please have your child bring or wear an old T-shirt/clothes to class.  A small individualized snack will be provided. Please indicate if your child has any food allergies.Children attending from Spaulding School or the Middle School can enter through the McAlister School Cafeteria entrance (blue door with ramp) for pick up and drop off. Please note, transportation is not provided. You will  have a terrific evening with the Bowling Buddies outing group friends while we make  a variety of creative presents and cards for the holidays and the Winter.  We will also listen to holiday music while we are making crafts and enjoy delicious snacks and pizza for dinner.All participants must pre-register.  Date:     Wednesday, December 3Time:     5:30 – 7:30pmAges:     10 yrs. & older Fee:        $10.00 Special Partners are encouraged to participate from the Bowling Buddies Program.
