Join Food Explorers for a 4 week dessert class! We’ll be making blueberry trifles, fruit tarts, fruit cobbler, and ambrosia. All recipes are nut free but will contain dairy, eggs and gluten. Making candles is a great way to relieve stress and bring joy into your life. (They also make a wonderful gift!) Ajia from ALL Love Candles will be helping us create our own clean burning, soy candles that smell AMAZING! Don’t miss out on this opportunity to make your own candle from scratch! Small nut free snack will be provided. After school transportation will be provided. 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM    Second-Chance Pancakes (Gr. 6-8) - Second-Chance Pancakes
Second-Chance Pancakes Author Renata Bowers shares the story of Frieda B. and the Zillabeast, to focus on a main message of the book: Life almost always gives us a second chance to make things right. In the story, forgiveness and a second chance revolve around a stack of pancakes. Participants could make a dry mix for "Second Chance Pancakes" to take home, inviting a new "second chance" tradition into their family life.
