With no strain added to your body this class will help you build strength and improve your flexibility. Chair exercises are a great low-impact way to incorporate movement into your routine. We do a combination of body and weight training. Flag Football NFL - Co-ed (Levels 1, 2 & 3) - Flag Football Level 1 Ages 6-8 NFL Flag Football is the premier youth football program for boys and girls. The program provides young players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in a non-contact, continuous action sport, while learning lessons in teamwork.League/ Divisions: Teams are made up of players from Granby, East Granby, and Suffield, and there are three age-based divisions. Level 1: players age 6-8 yrs. Level 2: players age 9-11 yrs. Level 3: players age 12-14 yrs. Age Level is determined by birth date as of January 1, 2026. Summer Let Grow Play Club (Gr. K–5) - Summer Let Grow Play Club Suffield Parks and Recreation, in partnership with the Suffield Balance Project, invite you and your child to the Let Grow Play Club. This unique summer program offers an unstructured, mixed-age play experience where children are encouraged to guide their own play and resolve conflicts independently. Through this approach, kids build essential social skills, resilience, creativity, and confidence.The program facilitator is present to ensure child safety and provide first aid if needed but takes a hands-off (“lifeguard only”) role, meaning they do not mediate conflicts or direct play unless absolutely necessary. With limited materials provided, children are inspired to use their imagination and create their own fun.Children attending Kids Korner/Morning Munchkins Camp may be dismissed directly to Play Club. Please have children wear comfortable clothing and sneakers that can get dirty. This program runs rain or shine; in the case of rain, please pack rain gear/boots. Kid's Korner/Morning Munchkins Camp (Age 3 yrs.& 4 yrs. Entering Gr. 2) - MORNING MUNCHKINS Camp Age 3 yrs.- SESSION 1 Your child will have non-stop fun this Summer in the Kid’s Korner/Morning Munchkins interactive and educational camp that consist of two week thematic units culminating with a big event day at the end of the session. NOTE: No camp on Monday, June 22 due to Staff training and camp location set-up.No Camp on Friday, July 3. Important Information: SESSION 1, WEEK 1 ONLYSchedule remains tentative due to Winter storm school closings and possible additional weather-related school closings could further affect the start date of camp. The Kid’s Korner/Morning Munchkins Camp is an enriching program for children who have reached their 3rd birthday by the start of the session enrolled in (proof of age required, and must be toilet trained) through those entering 2nd grade. The youngest group of campers is called, Morning Munchkins. Children are placed in groups according to proximity of age. Campers will enjoy a variety of activities including: arts and crafts, educational themes, parachute play, painting, water days, outdoor and indoor creative play, games, story time, scavenger hunts and family friendly event days in this fun and inclusive camp. For a special treat popsicles are served every water day and special snacks are enjoyed on event days including ice cream. There is a new theme each session to keep your child/ren captivated all Summer long. During each session, campers will put on an interactive event day to cap off the session that parents and caregivers are invited too. Delicious snacks will be served at the event day and much fun is had. Please be sure to let us know if your child has any food allergies.Please have children wear sneakers, apply sun block on your child before camp and pack a snack with water/juice that is labeled each day to camp. We will also have a fun Sprinkler day on Tuesdays each week. Please have your child wear a swimsuit/swim attire under their camp close that day and bring a towel. If there are thunderstorms, we will move the sprinkler day to another day during the camp week and parents will be notified in advanced.The following afternoon camps are held directly after Kid's Korner/Morning Munchkins Camp at Spaulding School Cafeteria A/B.
